REGISTRATION OF ESTABLISHMENTS
Does the law require registration of all establishments where animals are either produced or gathered (e.g. market places)?

31(2); without derogating from the generality of subsection (1), the Minister may provide for- [...] (f) the inspection and registration of slaughter houses, slaughter slabs, abattoirs, farms, hatcheries, livestock markets and animal product processing plants and the imposition of registration fees for such registration and inspection.
37(1); A person who intends to operate any premises as a slaughterhouse shall apply to the Direct for a permit in the prescribed manner and form upon payment of the prescribed fee.
39; The Minister may, by statutory instrument, prescribe the manner and form for the registration of any premises as a slaughterhouse.
42(1); A person shall not operate an animal health facility without a license issued in accordance with the provisions of this part.
43; A person who intends to operate an animal health facility shall apply to the Council for a license in the prescribed manner and form upon payment of the prescribed fee.
